Multifrax

Multifrax

MultiFrax operates with dual laser wavelengths — 1550nm and 1927nm — that target different layers of the skin for effective treatment. The 1550nm wavelength penetrates deeper into the skin to address pigmentation, scars, and wrinkles by coagulating soft tissue, while the 1927nm wavelength focuses on the skin’s surface to treat pigmentation concerns such as sun damage and melasma.

This non-ablative fractional approach heats targeted areas without removing layers of skin, stimulating natural collagen production and renewing damaged skin cells to promote a smoother and firmer appearance.

Frequently Asked Questions

How soon will I see results?

Some improvements may be visible after the first session, while more noticeable results typically develop progressively over multiple treatments.

How many sessions will I need?

A course of 3–5 sessions is commonly recommended, depending on your skin condition and treatment goals. Your doctor will advise on the most suitable schedule.

Can I combine MultiFrax with other treatments?

Yes. Your doctor may recommend complementary treatments based on your individual concerns. Treatments such as LED Light Therapy, LDM, or Exosomes Skin Awaken may also be considered to support recovery and enhance overall skin results.

What should I do after treatment?

Keep your skin hydrated with a gentle, fragrance-free moisturiser and avoid rubbing, scrubbing, or exfoliating. Avoid retinoids, AHAs, BHAs, and other harsh products until the skin has healed. Avoid excessive heat, swimming, saunas, and strenuous sweating during the initial recovery period. Daily sunscreen of SPF 30 or above is essential, with additional sun protection recommended when outdoors.

Are there any contraindications?

Inform your doctor before treatment if you are pregnant or breastfeeding, have a history of keloids or abnormal scarring, bleeding disorders, photosensitivity, or are taking medications that increase photosensitivity or affect healing. Your doctor should also be informed of recent chemotherapy, corticosteroid use, seizure disorders, or isotretinoin use.
